In the 1940s there was a study in the United States who wish to
device utilizes a shared computer. At 1950s
's when it kind of computers began to swell until the creation of super-
computer, because the high price of computer equipment then there are demands
a computer must serve multiple terminals. From this it
emerging concept of time-based distribution process known as
TSS (Time Sharing System), the first form of network (network)
computer was applied. In some terminals connected TSS system
in series to a host computer.

Furthermore, this concept evolved into the distribution process (Distributed 

Processing). In this process multiple host computers working 

a great job in parallel to serve multiple terminals 

connected in series in each host computer.

Furthermore, when the prices of small computers had started to decline and 

distribution process concept is ripe, then the use of computers and 

networks have started a variety of processes ranging deal with 

and communication between computers (Peer to Peer System) without 

through a central computer. To begin developing the technology 

local network, known as a LAN (Local Area Network). 

Similarly, when the Internet was introduced, then most 

LAN stand-alone start to relate and network formed 

giant global level is referred to as WAN (Word Area 

Network).
